About this product

Product Information

Dracula was, in fact, a real-life person--possibly the greatest national hero of Romanian folklore. A fiendishly cruel tyrant, he earned the title of Lord Impaler. Here is the chilling book about the true Son of Evil--far more blood-curdling than any work of fiction. 8 pages of illustrations.

Solid Seller; good updates, vry Fair price; unfortunately, this antique item disappeared when sellers girlfriend moved out and took a bunch of 'their' stuff hence, he quickly refunded in full that it wasn't there to ship, afterall. No worries.

  • It was hard to put this book down.

I never suspected this book would tell the true story of Dracula, rather than the gobbledygook blood sucker Dracula. I was introduced to his brother, his half brother as well as uncles and grandfathers. Learning of his capture (he was 10 years old) and rape by the Turks gave some insight as to how he became as deranged as he was. He impaled people by the thousands, including women and children. However horrifying as that is, he was not alone in these atrocities. Dracula did it in the name of Christianity. while the Muslims tortured and slaughtered in the name of Islam. I loved getting a perspective of life in the mid to late 1400s. This is a great book.
