The purchase was packaged inside a strong cardboard box, wrapped in bubble wrap and surrounded by scrunched up newspaper for added protection. The vehicle was play worn as shown in the sellers photographs, but crucially the winding mechanism was not damaged and was in fully working condition. The item was good value for the money paid.
