    a bit of hassle but worked

    I have a 2007 RX400h, the old remote key box was broken - not able to hold the battery in place. However the electronic component inside (the important piece) is still working fine. I bought these just to swap out the plastic box/buttons. At first all buttons seemed to be working, and later I went to use the car and IT WOULDN'T START! Very strange, scratched my head and wondering why! So I ended up putting the three old buttons (Pwr Door, Lock, Panic) back instead of using the new ones -> WALLAH everything worked as expected! Still scratching my head ... figured those are just plastic buttons ... but hey it's working fine now :). My guess is probably the old buttons has some kind of connections for the car to start. Almost threw away the old case, luckily I didn't. So make sure you do a ...

    Great look

    This key fob didn't work for me. I had the key cut for my RX330 and took the parts out of the old fob and put in the new one but it would not start my car. I was able to lock/unlock the doors but not start the car. Excited to get the key fob but disappointed that it didn't work for me. The quality I thought was good.

    2008 Lexus RX400h

    The key works except it does not open the power door. For the money I’ll still give it 5 stars. You must find a locksmith that can cut these types of keys and pair the key to the car. The dealership might not be the cheapest.

    Can't used as advertised.

    After purchasing this key fob for my 2005 Lexus RX330, found out that it can't be programmed for the car. And because it has been keyed, I can't return it. So it was a waste of money.
