Wow - best word to describe the piece is stunning! You did a professional job of packaging the pieces to ensure they arrived in good shape. The piece is now sitting on a very ornately carved white oak sideboard that I recently acquired from a farm estate near Havre DeGrace Maryland. Looks like it was always there!
