    This is exactly what I was looking for to keep the humidity down in my (unoccupied) place in Florida during the summer. It was available elsewhere for lots more money. Do not buy this to operate the humidifier on your furnace; it makes contact when the humidity rises. This will run your air conditioner or dehumidifier when things get too humid. It looks like it will be really easy to install; no need for a switchbox if you're using it for low voltage.

    The Honeywell humidistat was an exact replacement for the 1986 one that got thrown out during house remodel. It works great!!! It is hard wired though - not included in the description. Thanks for having this "vintage" item.

    Perfect as expected

    This does what its intended without question. It does require wiring and an additional box if you don't have one already. It doesn't have a cord only 2 control wires. Read the instructions. If you are using this for a stand alone dehumidifier use a piggyback power cord see below Piggyback Power 3W Cord End Plug 6 ft for Timer, Lights, Float Switch 120V (Switching Ready) ON OFF 3Wire. You need someone handy though. They do sell the same one with it all assembled, but expect to pay almost $200.00 for it. look up H46E plug and humidity control. The plug is just a piggy back as I mentioned.
