10-year-old Clifford (Martin Short) is nothing but trouble. When he forces a plane headed for Hawaii to land in L.A., his parents reach the end of their rope. Continuing on to their original destination, they ship the troublesome tyke with his uncle Martin.     Clifford!!!

    This film used to come on cable quite a bit back in the mid 90s. That's where we saw it on replay. It has always been a strange film, but the actors were committed and the special effects were top notch for the film. Revisiting it now, some 20+ years later, I find that the film surprisingly holds up well. The DVD features are nothing special but just having the film on disc is a blessing in itself. Highly recommended if you can get yourself a copy. Also, Grodin deserves far more credit than he has ever been given. He is a wonderful actor, and funny to boot!

    Late but excellent
