Product Information

The World Marketing of America GCH480 gas heater, although meant for short-term use, is very powerful and clean. It is used as an impermanent source and employed in buildings being constructed or repaired, open workshops, and garages. It can also be used outdoors. It comes with three heat settings and functions for up to 60 hours. It requires no electricity to turn on but only a 20 lb propane cylinder. Carry it with you anywhere as it is portable and can be started easily using the piezo ignitor. A protective grill guard is fitted for safety purposes.

    Good value

    Very easy to operate and puts out great heat. Only heavy when the tank is full. Three speeds is a good feature. Very convenient to heat a shop without gas line, should be cheaper than electric heat, and leaves juice for the tools.

    Good Heat Source

    I let my husband hook the propane tank up on it (although I'm sure I could have figured that out)but after that I took over and I got it to ignite on the first try. I've only used it on low during low 20deg. right now and only close to me. I'm sure it would be a good heat source if the furnace ever goes out. I do not recommend using it around small children as it does put out a significant amount of heat.

    Great heater

    Use this in my 24x12 uninsulated shed. Its late Oct in Massachusetts were its in the low 40 at night. I run it on high at first for about 20min, then I have to turn it to low setting. Heats very well and seems to be good on gas.
