    Nostalgia overload

    This was my first 'real' perfume. Haven't smelled it in decades, but the fun of the early 90s came roaring back with that first blast of flowery, fruity melon. This is not a high-end, complex fragrance like the French classics, nor does it pretend to be. This is a fresh, clean, fruity and flowery fragrance that is modest, friendly and casual. This is wearing cutoffs at a summer picnic, or going to a music festival with that cute guy from lit class. Everyone's experience can differ, because fragrance interacts with a person's unique chemistry, but on me this is juicy melon in a wildflower field on a hot summer day. As a few hours go by, it dries down to a softer, more floral version of itself with a hint of green, but the melon remains in the background. A happy, pretty and carefree ...

    My forever 'go-to' perfume!

    I've been wearing this for decades and I still get lots of compliments on it. I even had a man chase me down in the grocery store (he followed my scent) to ask what perfume I was wearing as it reminded him of "someone from a long time ago". Whenever I hear, "excuse me..", I quickly reply, "it's Sunflowers :)". I have a good armful of top-shelf fragrances, some from France, but this is a timeless keeper, great for everyday wear.
