Small, Impressive and personally rewarding
Really pleased to find this humane trap. My cat was a hunting boy living on the streets before he found me & eventually he bought a mouse to play with - which I rescued - and then thanks to my neighbour-friend who was with me, it ended up trapped in my home for 2 weeks! I am in a basement flat with no entry/exit points. I wish I'd found the Trip-Trap sooner!! He bought in another mouse in this time - and I thought it was the same one he had cornered. So I saved this one, but then found that 1 of the sunflower seeds that I'd left somewhere had gone missing. So saved 2 mice. I grew up with rodents as pets, but didn't have mice - DO NOT THINK you can rely on catching mice, like you can other rodents - they are super-athletes! ...As I have now found. It is really quite impressive... This ... Really pleased to find this humane trap. It is really quite impressive... This is where the Trip-trap is a beauty. Just put a little treat inside the trap, before the angle where the door shuts - maybe try a smear of peanut butter if you need to keep moving the Trip-trap and don't want to dislodge position of food - and also some food at the end of the trap to entice mice along. Attach the 2 parts together, if not already done. On some traps you may find the swing door doesn't flip-shut so effectively - stick on a 2p coin and it works like a charm... Very little effort & you will feel pleased with yourself for being so clever! - and kind for your effort (I got the tip from an internet search and found this!)... There is no need for the cruel traps on the market that leave animals suffering. NOT WHEN THIS WORKS and it is their world too. Mice are very intelligent, family oriented creatures, just like your pet dog or cat are - so this trap is a godsend to decent people who realise that it's not the animals' fault that "we" built on their land. Exactly a reason why these traps were invented. Poor little frightened mouse can then be released outside easily - and without harm - just by putting trap to the ground & lifting the door, OR, if it's too scared to move, by gently squeezing the inner connectable joint and gently pulling away from the overlapping part. IF you are worried about doing something wrong, leave the Trip-trap outside, somewhere private and/or quiet if possible, with the swingdoor in upward position and little mouse will find it's way out later when alone and feels safe. Easy to wash - just use washing up liquid. Rinse. Then spray with anti-bacterial and if instructions advise, rinse again. I leave to air dry. Trip-trap is very small (mice are very small) and takes up very little room in utility cupboard, ready for next use. NO harm was caused to my home, my pet or to me, by mouse (or trap), as hyped by "control" companies. We caught no disease. There would be dead cats all around the streets if this were the case. And no harm to little mouse. I just used antibacterial round my home after. Everybody wins. If you don't go around licking where the mouse, or any whatever, has been, or sticking your fingers in your mouth after handling, then you should be ok!! Just like anything else. Just be clean. Strangely, I kept telling off my cat "No more mice", whenever he went out - and he hasn't brought anything home since! May be worth a try... I will definitely be buying another Trip-trap, anyway, just in case. For the huge sense of reward gained from being kind & compassionate, the relatively small price for this is great value. It has also inspired me to campaign against/eradicate inhumane traps and discrimination against rodents. VERY IMPRESSED. Well done Trip-trap :)

This isn't a bad mouse catcher, it does the job. The end bit which you have squeeze in to be able to pull off is a little tight so if you do have any type of arthritis problems with your hands/fingers, you might find you struggle. We purchased some other humane mouse traps too and they were a better design in respect of that they were a little deeper (or higher) so that the mouse wasn't so cramped if it happened to go in there in the early morning hours & was stuck in there until we get up. The Mouse Trap
Well it does the job, i thought it was a bit small, ok for small Mice but not big ones, has a rocker bracket inside to hold the door open, when the rocker goes the other way the door closes and wont open, you have to lift it to re open it, also the other end comes off so no problem....yes interesting thing and it does work....from Fred in Essex UK.

I've tried all types of things to rid myself of mices. With an old house they love living under the floorboards and get in via house vents. I've only ever caught one and with a traditional trap and it was bloody ! This mousetrap did the trick and the occupant was duly dispatched to a local wildlife reserve ! Exactly what I wanted
I used 'killer' traps to try & deal with my mouse problem, but the clever little so & sos have managed to remove & hide one so well I can't find it !. In the past I had used a humane trap with some success, so I thought I'd try this product. Unfortunately, either I've already got rid of all the mice (doubtful) or they are now wise to my attempts & giving the traps a wide berth, as so far I haven't caught any. It's early days yet so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I know these products work, and I would recommend them.
