The material feels as though it would give more than adequate protection. The chin bar which doesnt stick out to far is a excellent idea. (Why have a helmet & not have face protection ?) I think it's stylish and has a excellent choice of colours. To be honest I'm very happy for what I paid & the product. Why would someone not wear a helmet like this especially with chin prot
