This seller of course offered to take it back but sent me a refund and let me keep the piece as it was something I really wanted. We thought maybe something happened in transit although beautifully packaged for shipping. Antiques are fragile, things can happen, but this seller went above and beyond!! Much appreciated. I will definitely have this lovely piece repaired
