This is often forgotten!
This doesn't seem like much but if you can feel that little hiccup at idle there is something wrong. My Taurus had that little hiccup and it was annoying. After watching a some youtube videos I thought to myself "You need to check that!". Well I went out and checked it an sure enough there was a crack in the elbow. After scouring the internet searching for the best deal I found one for $21 and change with free shipping. I received the item quickly and went out and changed it (which took about 1 minute) fired up the car and immediately noticed there was no hiccup. Engine heat was the culprit and probably was never changed.

Remedy for DTC P1131
Replaced my PCV valve with an aftermarket PCV value to no effect. Online research showed the 90 degree elbow hose can crack causing the DTC. Aftermarket parts, while less expensive, did not have good reviews. Decided to go with OEM and solved my problem.
