Full of features and a little complex, but as good as any golf GPS watch out there.
Once you learn how to use it, it's a good tool to have. Distances are relatively accurate. Watch face is easy to see and colorful. Has a "plays like" distance feature that adjusts for elevations. Slim design with quick release interchangeable watch band. No "practical" instructions are written in enclosed manual. Watch a couple of YouTubes instead. Advanced features like finding distance to a hazard is difficult to maneuver with your fingertip on watch face. Also battery life is only good for a round and a half. Might be a little pricey at full retail.

Software bugs
The golf features are nice, but the stroke detection is buggy. Also, the backlight only works until the phone syncs with my IOS app. After that it stops working. I've been in contact with Garmin about this bug. It still has not been resolved after two weeks.

Garmin should do better
For this kind of money, you would think they could do well at the easy stuff! In particular, they are not at all good at using the real estate on the screen....text is too small when there is plenty of room! It’s difficult to see, especially for the demographic that is buying this thing! We can’t see! So, use the wasted space and make stuff bigger! That’s my biggest complaint!

Garmin approach s60
Works great, easy to use. Occasionally the buttons on the side get pushed by either my glove or when my wrist bends and changes whatever function I’m using but I can get easily go back to the screen I was using. Overall it’s a good watch.

Plenty of other wrist units out there for less money that deliver better performance.
GPS accuracy varied. Elevation relative to the green feature sporadic. Battery life not as great as claimed. Because of the price in perspective of the failures, only a 2 star performer.

Does everything it's supposed to do and more. It even improved my game! Still learning how to really take advantage of it with additional apps now that golf season is ending here. Comfortable to wear and with the backlight cranked, easy to read.

Great golf watch
I was use to the Garmin Approach S2 and I can't say that the S60 is really impressive. I was looking for a golf watch that can be use as an everyday watch and for many other sports and activities and I found it. I am a left handed player and I found that if I want to use the swing tempo feature I must wear the watch on my right wrist. It tooks a couple of minutes the first time to find the satellites when using the GPS, but now it takes only a few seconds. I wear the watch as my everyday watch and it's very comfortable.

Very Dissatisfied
Using this product is not intuitive. The owners manual that comes with it does not say much on how to use it features. I have used this to play two rounds of golf so far and each time more than 60% of the power was used. There is no way that I can use it for more than one round. I am totally dissatisfied so far.
