When contacted, he told me he didn't notice it. It is a small mug and the defect is hard to miss. He told me to ship the item back. I told him I used porcelain glue to fill the gap, he told me that the deal was off since I altered the original mug. I guess he was still going to try to sell this defective item to another customer. My first bad experience with Ebay!
