Bei der Vorbereitung und Auswahl der Texte fur dieses Buch, habe ich erneut die Fragen der Eltern gelesen und dazu die Antworten von Jesper Juul. Ich war wieder genau so fasziniert von seinem Esprit und seiner Tiefgrundigkeit, wie schon so oft in unserer langen Zusammenarbeit. Als ware er nie weg gewesen. Einfach ein toller Mensch! Jesper Juuls Antworten sind getragen von tiefer Mitmenschlichkeit, Wohlwollen und Kenntnis. Gleichzeitig lasst er sich nicht in Bockshorn jagen und schreckt auch nicht davor zuruck zu provozieren. Wie so oft habe ich mich beim Lesen der Elternfragen selbst gefragt, was wird er wohl jetzt sagen? Was hatte ich gesagt. Ich bin gespannt, ob es Ihnen auch so geht. Ein paar seiner eindrucklichsten Satze in diesem Buch sind fur mich: Eine der grundsatzlichsten Regeln von Liebe und Partnerschaft ist es, dass unsere Partner die Entscheidungen, die wir fur uns selbst treffen, akzeptieren mussen. Kinder verhalten sich zu Reichtum und Armut genauso, wie sie es von ihren Eltern kennen. Wenn Eltern sich schamen, arm zu sein, werden die Kinder das Gleiche fuhlen. Wenn Eltern stolz auf ihre Besitztumer sind und ihren Reichtum vorzeigen, machen sie ihnen das auch nach. Beides Mal besteht das Risiko der sozialen Ausgrenzung und des Mobbings. Wenn Eltern sich derart uneins sind, gibt es immer zwei Wege: Machtkampf, den ich nicht empfehle, oder ernste Aussprache. Es geht nicht darum, was die Kinder tun, sondern wie wir als Erwachsene mit unserer eigenen Frustration umgehen, ohne ihre Grenzen zu verletzten. Versuchen Sie, Empathie zu mobilisieren, statt zuruckzuschiessen oder beleidigt zu sein. Es beeindruckt mich immer wieder, wie Jesper Juul die ubergeordnete Ebene sieht und darauf eingeht und so in aller Kurze eine klare Haltung ermoeglicht. Klar wird dabei, dass das nicht die richtige Antwort, die richtige Haltung ist. Es ist eine der moeglichen Antworten eines freundlichen Fachmanns, an denen man sich orientieren kann, oder es ganz anders macht. Freu
