When a submarine rescues a stranded reporter and oceanographer they're introduced to Lattitude Zero, a secret haven for artists and scientists hidden on the ocean's floor. But all is not quiet at the bottom of the sea, as Malic the Murderer, played by Cesar Romero (BATMAN), threatens to destroy this peaceful retreat. Older Movie Still Fun To Watch
Hokey monsters a very light plot and some named actors make this a fun if not too deep movie to watch. You have to be willing to suspend belief for some time and, particularly toward the end, realize that these folks clearly had a very limited budget. Crazy, crazy classic
If you're a fan of the kaiju films of Toho Studios, then the names ishiro Honda, Eiji Tsubaraya and Akira Ifukuba need no introduction. They all contributed to THIS film, which also stars Joseph Cotton, Caesar Romero and Richard Jaeckel and a bunch of familiar faces from kaiju movies past. And the lovely Linda Haynes as an MD with plastic clothes, a plunging neckline and go-go boots. This is one crazy film... garish, exploitative and goofy in the extreme. The disks provide the English language version and another with dubbed Japanese dialogue (the film was shot in English). Great fun
