    This Was My Starting Point to the Ukulele - LOVED IT!

    Great learning book. I had a desire to learn ukulele so I bought one in January and borrowed this book (albeit the 2nd edition) from my local library. Definitely helped me get going and I loved it so much that I wanted to have my own copy, settling for the 1st edition is hardly a step backwards either, the author even notes that on his own website as he states that anyone who owns the 1st ed does not need the 2nd ed unless they REALLY want to get the samples by download instead of having to listen to them off the CD-ROM.

    Love it!

    I'm a complete beginner and there are great suggestions for someone just learning. There are also more in depth tips for those who choose to look into it. I'm not there yet. It's a handbook so you can just go to what you're looking for in the moment but also take the sections as separate lessons to practice with. Great book!
