    Useful but beware if limitations

    I've just installed 2 of these. They're very easy to install and are setup and working in minutes. They're being used to hold open thoroughfare firedoors in a rugby club as we try to improve the fire safety (previously these doors were hooked back or wedged open, neither of which are good safety solutions). They work well and a simple to use. The only issue we have is with false triggering. There's a school holiday club here this week. The sustained yells, squeals and screams of the kids is enough to trigger release, even at its lowest sensitivity setting. Give both units are within feet of the fire sounders, it would be useful to have a reduced sensitivity setting (dip-switches on the rear) beyond what is adjustable on the front.     Does the job effectively

    Works as expected. Easy to fit. Good value at the discounted price. The sound of a vacuum cleaner will cause the door to release, but it's better to be too sensitive than not sensitive enough!
