    All the studio albums in one place.

    For less than a fiver each, you get the complete set of six studio LPs. Used to have them on vinyl back in the day, never got around to replacing them. They also come with a nice box! The sound quality is very good - apparently taken from a 40th anniversary remix by the remaining Doors & their studio engineer, Bruce Botnik. Unfortunately, doesn't come with the extra/alternate tracks that the 40th mix individual album releases did, but I can live with that.

    Scores on The Doors

    The Doors require no introduction, so this isn't a synopsis of the band or the classic albums this pack contains. Just to say that the quality of the recordings are just as you'd hope they'd be, they're excellent! Fidelity, loudness levels and stereo imagining are all superb, no corners have been cut in these regards. The affordability of this box set is obviously a result of the packaging used, which is minimalistic, but of good quality. There's a booklet outlining the albums with info on each with artwork from the original records. Each disk is housed in a sturdy cardboard sleeve and once stored in the main hinged, thick card box, are well protected. I have no complaints in this regard, less plastic is a good thing! I would recommend this item to anyone.
