    Quality carbon monoxide detector

    This product is a quality item. Once batteries installed it came up with faulty initially, but after removing the batteries & popping them back in, it so far is working as it should. With the warranty it is a reassuring back up!

    Kidde K5CO monitor./alarm

    Well, the co. alarm indicates that it is on (despite difficult to follow instructions, but that may be just me!), however until we have a co. leak in the house, there is no way to prove whether or not it is working. Let's hope it is, and that we are, therefore, safe at the moment! It is neat looking, and unobtrusive. Batteries are included. 3 stars only given as it hasn't proved itself yet, but we have a Kidde smoke alarm, and that works well, so no reason to suppose our co. alarm would fail us.

    New but better replaces old reliable one.

    This was purchased to replace an older version which was playing up. It was well past it's end of life, but served me well. The later version drops exactly into place where the old one was, so no new drilling. Also it runs on 2 batteries as opposed to three in the older version. It's a good advancement over the old one.
