    fabulous characters, very realistic plots

    this whole series is so believable & original, the characters are so real & honest, it's not a soapy at all, yet follows the lives of the midwives & nuns & locals so that we feel we know them. It also relates to the period after the war & into the sixties with total authenticity, the research is credible & thorough. We have watched from the first to series 7, & are longing for more, & my husband & I are seniors. Thoroughly recommend this series.

    Call the midwife season 7

    This show is very good it's changing through each season with the season 7 being in the mid to late 60s it's worth a look if you want drama with a touch of comedy.

    Great insight into the midwives of England in the 1950's and before.
