I haven't watched these discs, as we had recently viewed the series on PBS for the second time. Ordered the set for another viewing in the future, and to share with family members who are interested but haven't seen any of it previously. The settings are much more realistic and the story line more believable than most production on the subject. The King was the weakest in the production. This is a production for people who like history and have some knowledge of the period. It is not for the novice. Only aware as the series is almost over.
Wasn't really sure in the beginning, as there were characters that were rather confusing. As it progressed, became more interesting. Again, the sound quality is rather poor and combined with the English accent is hard to understand. Disappointing.
The story has potential, but it drags on and on and on. The actors are adequate although the Cromwell character is played as if he's on sedatives.
