      Not a perfect remote, but it's better than the older models

      It's much like the other remotes of this generation; however, if you haven't upgraded yet and are able to, it should be considered. Navigating with an actual click and not only relying on the touch is necessary for us at this point. Although the most important thing is the USB charging. Lost of newer tech is charged via USB-C (instead of the iPhone) and only needing one type of cable is the best part of it all.

      A better remote

      I purchased this remote (which is identical to the one I already have with my other Apple TV) to replace an older remote which was difficult to use. The older one is too sensitive to handle. It would make inputs while slightly holding it. If you barely touched the pad, it would make an input, whether I wanted it to or not. I can set this model up to require a specific input.

      Much improved from the original black remote that originally came with my Apple 4k tv 2017 model.

      Nice looking I like the polished aluminum versus the black plastic. Easier to see in a low lit room Easy to setup Easy to use Apple really did a nice job with this remote.
