Nice DVD set with some (unfortunate) technical problems
This is a nice set of very interesting DVD's of stories from a great author in Ruth Rendell. The stories all have interesting themes that were current for their time (nineties). Also of note is the background and theme music written by a Brian Bennett. Unfortunately some of the episodes are spoiled by analogue to digital transfer problems, where frames freeze or glitch jump. Shame really.

A series of psychological murder mysteries.
We purchased this in the expectation that it was the Inspector Wexford series however it is a collection of Ruth Rendell's mysteries which in themselves are good but only two are related to Inspector Wexford. The other stories are psychological murder mysteries which are quite dark. We will no doubt watch them but it seems the two series related to Inspector Wexford are not readily available on DVD. So we were slightly disappointed .

Quality of DVDS are excellent, so far, storyline are good but they are old shows so no digital enhancing, but if you are looking for stories with a twist they are good.

Complete dud, the only viewable disc is Inspector Wexford. Some of the discs are outright pathological and extremely stupid.
