    Poor quality. Nothing like my origianl set of PS5429C pliers.

    My original PS5429C with blue grips suffered a broken tension spring. The "replacement" ps5429c pliers I purchased came with red grips, and has very dull cutters [you can see light through the cutters when closed], as compared to my original ones which still work without the spring. I plan to contact the manufacturer.

    Good Value

    This cutter does not cut copper rivets as easily as my Knipex does, but it does cut very close to flush, which the Knipex cannot do. And the Crescent is a lot cheaper. It's a good value.

    Nice pliers -- easy on the hands; SHARP and well made; has stood up to a LOT of wiring work. VERY ergonomical with a nice balance and feel. Use them all day with minimal fatigue -- good one to get. Great value.
