    Lacking in content, barebones

    I put off buying Soul Calibur 6 after promotional videos screenshots made it very clear that a large amount of content (most, in fact) was being reused from SCIV and V, models, moves, sound effects and create-a-soul equipment in particular. Most egregious in VI is the fact that it looks almost exactly the same as V on the PS3 did, and adding insult to injury, there are barely any create-a-soul items to unlock and the pieces we enjoyed for free (as unlocks) in VI and V are now part of paid DLC packs (!) Most don't purchase Soul Calibur for the story mode but as with V, the one in VI is particularly poor and lazy; outside of the fights they consist of talking text boxes and static portraits. Each character has a 'story' mode, but it's essentially 5 fights and lots of pressing square to get ...
