DIY watch battery fitting
You can save a lot of cash by fitting your own battery replacement especially if, like me you have a cheep watch for gardening etc. For more valuable watches, it might be better to get a jeweler to do the job. Care is needed in getting the back off a watch. Some backs need a tool to unscrew the back. some need prizing off. I have ordered a special type of screwdriver to prize these off. A pen knife can work, but can also cut your fingers! So far, so good
Battery is the correct size and specification, and came sealed in a pack exactly as the picture. The watch started working as soon as I put it in. I have know way of knowing how long it will last, which of course is the real test - all I can say is, so far, so good.
