I suppose I should have double checked sizes as they were smaller than expected . They were no good for awning material folded over as it was 2 thick to allow the parts to click together . Even on 1 layer of material they click together but take no effort to unclick apart. So I had to heat seal them together . I also used them on a flag that was fraying they were perfect for this job . Overall for the money this item.was great and does the job perfectly just don't expect too much out of them . I think I Did . Highly recommend.

The items are reasonably easy to put onto the sheet but they seem to pop off quite easily as well even though I used a set of pliers to compress them. Time will tell.

I used them on a boat tarpaulin. I could snap them on this heavy material using a pliers then knife open the hole. Easier still was using a hole punch first then I could snap them on no trouble. On lighter materials there should be no problems . I can recommend these eyelets.

Does the job, the hardest thing is making the holes in the tarp before inserting one half of the eyelet. Make sure you clip them together correctly to make them tight to the tarp.
