Not as good quality as the LMF firesteel. Too soft, too little spark. It starts the fire but tries several times. Positive: cheap and strong.

As a bushcraft instructor I purchased these as quick and cheap replacements as I tend to lose quite a few of these. I have no issue with ferro rod but it doesn't work well with the striker supplied which appears to have little steel or iron content. However, when these were replaced they produced sparks comparable with other more expensive varieties.
