Excellent 2-disk summing up of the house music scene with most of the usual suspects included. I was particularly pleased at the inclusions of Sterling Void's "It's Alright," Joe Smooth's "Promised Land," CeCe Rogers' "Someday" and Ten City's Deep House mix of "That's The Way Love Goes." Extra points too for including both S-Express' "Theme From S-Express" AND sample source "Is It Love You're After?" by Rose Royce, but on the minus side I'd have included "Good Life" by Inner City (as opposed to "Big Fun") and all the "aciiiieeed" tracks on disk 2 from the early 90's have dated horribly and won't be getting much repeat play from me. Purists will argue that this is too "populist" a collection, but if you just need one house compilation in your collection, this is as good as it gets...
