      Great charger & best buy but parents be careful :)

      I (used to) have one of these, it was really great (apart from a very silent (but audible) high frequency beep, which was in sync with the blinking of the battery icons). Until one day one of my children put a non-rechargeable alkaline battery in it. When I found it, the battery already leaked in, and no matter how thoroughly I tried to clean it from the inside (and later even tried to change some of the electrical components involved) I could never get it to work again. I'm writing this because I need a charger again and this one still seems to be the best buy :) so I checked it once more and found a line in the description: - Alkaline battery detection Well, this didn't work for me, so be careful when testing this option :) the rest is still great and high quality.

      i bought a cheap charger, what a waste of money. decided to spend a little more and bought this one. it's 100% worth the little extra. charges fast. shows you the exact state of each individual battery on charge. very pleased.

      Charger

      The item is elegant from any aspect, but one thing: when charging high capacity AA batteries, better to use special chargers made for them. This one can’t charge them to full.

      Good capacity with adequate features

      Very easy to use charger, with the ability to charge just one or up to eight batteries at a time, unlike older chargers which could only charge batteries in pairs. You get an indication of charge state as soon as a battery is inserted by means of the number of flashing bars displayed. The higher the column the greater the energy still in the battery. It also gives you an idea of how much longer the charging process will take. My wife considers me to be a collector of battery chargers! I am not, but I do keep looking for a good one that meets all my needs. This one does.
