Managed to find my dad's metal clicky-bottom can, so decanted some into it, now I can inject fluid right into the holes. Probably doesn't help, but makes me feel better. I don't have any spare woodworm to try it out on, so I can't comment on its effectiveness. I trust the name, that's all.
