Dyna Coils on 1200 Bandit
I had problems with my 1200 Bandit misfiring and generally running poorly. Some years ago the original coils packed in and I replaced them with some cheap generic ones, these were OK for a couple of years but recently started to fail when hot. I bought the Dyna coils and I must say the quality is great and they have totally cured any misfiring. The bike starts easier and runs much smoother. My only issue came when fitting them as fitting them to the existing mounts made them hit against the bottom of the tank. I will be overcoming this by making a simple metal bracket to lower them by about 20mm.I had problems with my 1200 Bandit misfiring and generally running poorly. Coils need a mod to fit
Great coils but these are not a direct fit , I had to make adapter plates to lower the coils as they hit the underside of the tank and the tank won’t fit , with them lowered all ok
