The switch was purchased to connect two solar panels either in series to give higher voltage or parallel to give more current, depending on what I wanted to run, and the conditions. It seems very well made. On my switch a mid terminal screw was so tight that I had to support the assembly in order to force down on the screwdriver enough to slacken it without bending it! A small drop of thick oil on the pivots and a smear of vaseline on the contacts makes the action easier. Very impressed!
