I bought this usb extension to put my lora MeshTastic Rak node higher up in the loft. Then run the cable down to my bedroom connected to a usb phone charger. This is for emergency off grid communication with SMS messages, not using mobile phone networks or WiFi. Nodes talk to other nodes to relay messages to form a mesh. Hence the acronym "MeshTastic" item arrived earlier than expected well packaged and powered the node up without problems. So data transfer should work ok. Thank you.😊

    Good cable, it works perfectly!

    First of all i have had thousands of usb cables in my life, so, i do know through experience a bit about them. This worked! Pc had no issues detecting connected device even though the device was connected over 15m away in total. The repeater works! The connection was also snug, always a bonus, as it means no disconnections or data jumps. Cable feels strong, an i have had no signal interference either. For this price i expected some niggles, but, its working perfectly, worth every penny in fact. Hence i bothered to write this review so others know, it works perfectly!

    Bad Cable

    not of merchantable quality. compared to another cable it is not fit for purpose. inferior construction and materials. may not be a true repeater cable. needs to be dismantled to analyse what's going on. bought another cable which is stronger, more conductive, better.

    It works great and a good colour not to fall over.

    I bought this cable for the sole purpose of using it as a teather cable from my camera to my comp whilst shooting in my studio. I just cable tied my camera cable to this 10m cabel for a solid connection. This was a way cheaper alternative than buying an actual teather cable which are £40. It works as it should with no slow down at all and its bright blue so me and my clients can see it on the floor. I would highly recommend this product.
