Not perfect but as good as you can easily buy
I bought this for pressure testing crankcases on 2 stroke engines via the spark plug hole. For my application it works perfectly. For most people who are compression testing there are a couple of potential hitches. First there is no valve in the adapter, so the volume of air gets added to the volume of the combustion chamber. For very small engines like 25cc strimmers that I work on this leads to a siginicant error, under measuring the compression. For most people working on cars etc this is insignificant. I've never found any adapter which has a valve fitted Second when fitted in a 12 mm thread quite a lot of the adapter sticks into the engine so for engines with a short plug thread length it could potentially hit the piston, so take some care.
