I love reading Christian romances, especially the ones about the Amish. This is a beautiful story of love, acceptance and finally redemption. Sarah is a business woman who finds herself with a family when her Amish sister and her husband die. Needless to say, conflict arises, but by the end of the story the Lord has once more worked in mysterious (to Sarah) ways His wonders to perform. This book is much, much better than the movie, The Saving of Sarah Cain. This is one of my favorite Lewis books.
It was excellent. I read it in two days. It made me cry. Make sure you read "October Road" (Part 3) to catch up on what happens to Lydia Cottrel. I recommend these other authors: Wanda E. Brunstetter (I read almost all of her books, except the latest); Cindy Woodsmall; Beth Wiseman; Lauraine Sneiling; Kim Vogel Sawyer; and Shelley Shepard. I will be reading all their books, eventually.
When Beverly Lewis writes I know I have nothing to fear as far as bad language is concerned. It's always a great spiritual journey. I love the quotes from the Bible. Beverly Lewis books were suggested to me by a dear friend. I have now read 9 of her books and they are all wonderful.
I liked the story plot.
