The release and clip function are really clever and the ability to change every conceivable angle means it will fit almost anywhere. The suction is very strong on this unit as well.

It seems sturdy enough and holds my Samsung A12 well enough in a shock proof case although it probably wouldn't fit in a wallet style case. I haven't installed it in the car yet but my wife's car has a similar gel suction cup and it is very well stuck to the windscreen. Very happy with the service I received from the seller.
