Delivery quick and helpful, velvet colour headboard was perfect (I had a sample beforehand to make sure) and fits perfectly in the space I had (small double) for my daughter's box room. Yes the gas lift ottoman comes up if you have no mattress on top, but as soon as mattress is added it's fine - I even had my daughter's old single mattress on it while I was waiting for the other mattress to be delivered.
