This new one was an easy swap, apart from having to saw a circlip groove in the new shaft. The rotation was correct, and noise was very low, similar to how the de-humidifier was when new. Only time will tell how reliable it is, but at this sort of price, having to replace it every 18 months or so would be better than the £230 cost of a new machine.
