Reasonable quality item despatched and received in very quick time. As a retired engineer I bought these for home use, be careful of the sharpish edges on the metal parts easily remedied with a smooth file to round off the edges and remove the sharp feel, accurate enough for home use and time will tell how long they last, perfectly fine for brand new item at this money though.

    Versatile measuring tool

    The caliper appears to be well made. It works exactly as expected. Measurement is quick and accurate. The storage case is robust with good latches to keep it closed. It even comes with a spare battery. I'm using it to check items that I would normally measure with a rule. Delighted with the product.

    Poor practice.

    The sliding parts felt very gritty in operation. I had to spend some time cleaning the parts for a smooth operation. The packing was poor. Only one end of the outer card sleeve was sealed with the address label and nothing to stop the plastic box sliding out the other end and getting lost in the post. It was also possible to identify the product and thus the value of the contents.

    Product is reasonably accurate enough for government work. Used it to do a rough check on some shims in an engine along with a known accurate micrometer and it came within 2 thousandths each time. For the price and as as a quick rough check its good enough

    But this product with total confidence that it will do the job.

    I am a mechanic. I also reload rifle bullets. So accuracy is important. Unlike others this set of callipers is genuinely accurate to 1/1000 of an inch. I have checked thoroughly. So far it has worked absolutely perfectly.
