I ordered from this seller because I was looking for a copy with the original cover art -- sheep in profile -- which the seller used in the listing for this item. (I'm a shepherd. It mattered to me.) Sadly, that is not what I received. Between the the covers, of course, it's still Pratchett, and it's in perfect shape, so I'll keep it, but I am disappointed.

  • great book for young and old

I started this book a bit apprehensively. If a friend wasn't waiting for me to read it and wanting to discuss it, I probably NEVER would have read this book. It started a bit slow and strange for me, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The wee free men definitely make the book and had me cracking up laughing out loud. My family kept giving me strange looks because I laughed so much towards the end. It was a really good read and I would recommend it to everyone, both young and old. :)

  • Funny, and sometimes fearful.

Love Tiffany Aching and the Wee Free Men. I feel at home with them, and can re-read the series every year or two.

  • Laugh Out Loud Funny--Don't Miss It!!

Terry Pratchett at his satirical best. This book, suitable for young adult or old adults, follows the adventures of Tiffany Aching as she discovers her witchiness. This book turns classic fairy stories on their head, and includes a race of drunken Nac Mac Feegles. (Think pixies meet Braveheart meet your local barroom brawler.) "They may take our homes, but they'll never take our trousers"! Read how Tiffany and her allies rescue her sticky little brother from the fairy queen and save the handsome prince (to his embarrassment).

  • Awesome

Terry Pratchett as always best of the best Great to read
