Digging with Draper :)
I bought bot the border spade and fork together and they are both perfect. The soft grip makes them easy to hold and less wearing on your hands. The shafts seem to be very sturdy and not likely to break at all easily and the stainless steel blade on the shovel and tongs on the fork are both equally as sturdy and strong. Being stainless steel makes them very easy to clean after use, something I've always hated and therefore never done properly before resulting in caked on mud inhibiting the next use but with these being so easy to clean they are put away as clean as the day I got them :) Obviously they are smaller than their full size counterparts but sadly I'm no 6' muscle man and neither do I have an estate sized garden to dig. The size is right and the quality excellent!
As an older woman - I don't want a big heavy spade. This spade is about three-quarter width, but able to do the work. It is a mite heavier than I expected because of its sturdy construction, but it does a good job and is easy to clean.
