UPVC PAINT
I bought this after many weeks of searching the internet for a good quality plastic outdoor paint. I expected it to be very thick like a gloss and not go very far. It’s in fact watery and goes a long way. You do need 3-4 coats though, so don’t expect a fast job. That said, it does exactly what it says and is dry within 30 minutes. Less on the first coat. I’ve now used it on wooden window sills and external wooden doors to. They look like new. Fantastic product, highly recommend but at the price I paid, it’s over priced. Runny Honey
Currently renovating my kitchen I was naturally looking for a low odour primer/stain killer. This only being possible with a water-based acrylic product, Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 plus seemed to be the best if not the only product available, as practically all stain killers are solvent-based. And I specifically needed both to prime the ceiling overall and treat a water stain in one area. Whilst I was aware that I needed to apply the product at least twice over a stain, I was quite surprised how runny the product is. So, beware and prepare to prevent unintentional spillage! Thus, I only give 4 of 5 points and call it "runny honey"... Lovely paint....goes on smoothly with brush and roller. Covered stains left by grease effectively after surface grease removed with sugar soap o VERY stain I'll need ceilings. Could have left it with just one coat, but advice was to top coat it and emulsion went on well over after time advised on tin. However, when painting cupboards with Satinwood over this as an undercoat, I found it needed more time between coats as the Satinwood appeared to be fugitive until left until the next day. Thoroughly recommend...almost impossible to remove once dry, so make sure you protect anywhere you don't want it!Lovely paint....goes on smoothly with brush and roller.
