    Oh ye faithful

    This soldering iron is a Gem for the price, It’s a gem full stop. It tinned easily and is hotter than the blazes of hell. Good for soldering thick wires such as 10/12 AWG. But not so good for delicate work such as circuit boards it’s too hot for that and the tip isn’t pointed the flat tip is too fat for circuit boards . Otherwise it’s great best one I have bought in a long while .

    Faithful???? You must be having a laugh.

    For the reasonable price I wasn't expecting much... but to work for five minutes and stop before I even got my small soldering job completed is totally ridiculous. Obviously manufactured in China and shipped to England for distribution. Arthur Daley job.
