    Not sure if it's the fault of this item but when recording my record, the audio clipped a lot even when I turned down sensitivity. Might just be a mastering issue on the record. Still, if you just need to digitize something then this provides a decent enough quality and records in Stereo with the right setup.

    Great product, highly recommend.

    This product performed as advertised. It came with several other items and a small CD to download drive, etc., but my laptop (HP) recognized the converter so all i did was plug it into usb connection, open audacity and start recording. Real easy and great audio (stereo) recording. My goal was to convert old cassette recording into mp3 format and archive it for better preservation purposes. Best experience EVER.

    Awesome product!!

    Product is as advertised. Using a JVC tape deck and a MacBook, I was able to convert all my cassettes to digital format. Actually sounds better than original cassette. Just make sure to configure your computer settings to use the USB microphone to record.

    Good for vinal conversion but not cassette tapes.

    This works well for vinal transfer to MP3. There is a slight issue with Cassette being the signal output of the cassette tape is much hoter than the vinal signal. This will cause cliping of the waveform.
