These were the wrong choice.
I've had these for a week now and they are still unusable because of the powerful smell of rubber which they are giving off. I've tried scrubbing them with bicarbonate of soda solution, I've tried scrubbing them with white vinegar solution. So far no joy. If we get any decent weather I will leave them out in the sunshine which might help.
