    Clever and functional but unattractive

    The focusing mechanism is clever and produces a sharp image, and it's nice that you can adjust the two eyes independently. The specs are moderately comfortable to wear but too heavy for prolonged use. They come with good instructions. The specs are quite large and unattractive, so I would only wear them at home.

    An excellent quality solution.

    Used these as a temporary (2-3 months) aid whilst recovering from floater surgery, one eye at a time. This meant that my vision was seriously out of balance for up to 4 months. Compared to some other similar products these are a good option, with a quality clear lens, a wide range and they are very cheap to buy. In effect they work - not perhaps as a permanent vision aid, but a real help as a quality stop-gap. They look a bit silly, but they work. Used mainly for computer working, for which these allowed me to do my work without strain. Recommend.

    Good quality and value

    Tried a cheaper version and the lenses wobbled, and the adjustment was jumpy, these are great, no wobble and smooth adjustment and still good value at around £12. Due to diabetes my eyesight varies daily so fixed lense glasses are no good but with these i can adjust easily to suit.

    Great for wearing in the car when driving.

    My distance focus changes from day to day and is dependent on when I took my diuretic medicine. This my optician prescribed distance fixed focus spectacles sometimes work for reading car number plates at 20 metres and sometimes don't. But these adjustable focus spectacles enable me to always be able to pass the driving eyesight requirements because I can adjust them to my eyes when I get into the car before I drive off.
