    The seller changed her mind and refused to sell the item, after I had made an offer equivalent to the "Buy it now" price. After making my payment and obviously after representation from the seller Paypal placed my payment in the "Pending" category. I had no choice but to cancelled my payment to terminate the transaction. I twice contacted the seller.

    As I explained, the RAF bell belonged to my Dad. It was my sister who decided she wanted to keep this and I was just about to remove the listing when sale came through. As you know I immediately tried to cancel and contacted you to stop payments. I have very much apologised and spent the next morning on to Ebay staff who have been very supportive and understanding. It was an emotional change of heart and I did all that I could to resolve matters, as you know. I wish you well.
