This item is described as fitting a 5.6mm LD but after several messages with winone2020 I discovered it only works for a 5.6mm LD attached to a small PC board. This is not useful for holding bare 5.6mm LD. Also, it does not work with 9mm LD, so it is useless for most purposes. See attached photo for the LD mounted on small PC board. This should be shown on the Web page for the unit to avoid confusion.

Please don't be here to mislead others dear friend if you are not that professional. we are only sell the diode housing for DIY. The driver board should be propared by your self to assemly to be a laser module. you did not know how to assemble it and insist it is for LD 9.0MM, that's why we disassemble one laser module to explain to you how to do it correct. you did not notice your mistake, but take fault to our product, and leave this unfair review. it's not fair to us!!
